Kraftanlagen acquires the industrial services provider specialising in the maintenance and construction of pipelines in production plants.

The Industry business unit thus increases capacity in Western Germany and expands its range of solutions for the pharmaceutical industry

Strategic acquisition

With effect from the turn of the year, Kraftanlagen Energies & Services has acquired H & R Industrierohrbau GmbH, based in Frankfurt am Main, as a wholly-owned subsidiary. H & R Industrierohrbau is an industrial services provider specialising in the maintenance and construction of pipelines in production plants. The core of its business activities is turnkey pipeline construction, i.e. the complete piping and heavy installation of apparatus and production plants such as distillation or refining plants and their associated supply lines for supply, cooling water or fire extinguishing systems. H & R Industrierohrbau is also active in the construction of special apparatus for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. he portfolio also includes planning through to final assembly of ultra-pure media and sterile systems for input materials such as gases, biochemicals, pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs and chemicals used in production processes.

Kraftanlagen increases the range for pharmaceutical industry

The company, which has sites in Frankfurt am Main, Ingelheim and Bottrop, has about 100 employees. As a unit, it will strengthen the Industry business unit of Kraftanlagen Energies & Services. Its head, Mario Vouilleme, says: “With the purchase, we are increasing our capacities in Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate and, among other things, expanding the range of solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. After we covered the engineering side in the region in September 2021 with the purchase of Kiel Engineering GmbH and the subsequent expansion of ECM Nord, the acquisition of H & R now completes our integral offer for our customers with the execution side.”

Alexander Hock, Managing Director of H & R and new Head of the “Central Region” in the Industry business unit explains: “This is a valuable step towards a secure joint future. Not only will our jobs and locations be preserved, we now have great development opportunities as part of the Kraftanlagen Group. For our customers, we will continue to be a reliable partner.”
