In 1928, the first “100-atmosphere plant” in Europe is built in Mannheim. This 100-bar upstream plant of the large power station in Mannheim reduces fuel consumption from 700 to less than 600 grams of coal per kilowatt hour. A lighthouse project is created, in the construction of which Kraftanlagen Aktiengesellschaft also plays a major role. This and many subsequent major contracts make Kraftanlagen a leading supplier in plant and pipeline construction.
Over the decades, the Kraftanlagen Group has developed from a pure power plant builder into a leading service provider for industry, energy and building services.
Today, Kraftanlagen Energies & Services implements state-of-the-art processes and technologies throughout Europe and offers individual and sustainable solutions that are energy-efficient and thus essential for the success of the energy transition.
