Beneficiarul, SWM Infrastruktur GmbH (SWM), modernizeaz\u0103 re\u0163eaua de termoficare a ora\u0219ului \u2013 una dintre cele mai mari re\u0163ele din Europa, av\u00e2nd o lungime de peste 900 kilometri. \u00cen acest proces, rolul central \u00eel joac\u0103 trecerea de la abur la ap\u0103 fierbinte \u00een vederea utiliz\u0103rii energiei geotermice. Astfel se \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u0163e\u0219te considerabil eficien\u021ba energetic\u0103, deoarece \u00een viitor se va transporta ap\u0103 fierbinte de \u201enumai\u201c 120 grade prin conducte mai mici \u00een loc de abur fierbinte de 180 grade prin conducte mari DN800.
