The high safety standards in nuclear plant construction require particular care when analysing systems, plant components and support buildings. In addition to demands from regular operation, anomalous states of operation as well as potential malfunctions and damages must also be analysed. In particular, this also includes unsteady and dynamic processes. We perform comprehensive design, execution and detailed engineering.
Complex engineering, static and dynamic structural analyses
We create overall concepts for waste treatment plans, including building layouts, layout engineering, pipe engineering as well as engineering for hot cells and remote operation technology. For process technology-related tasks, we design systems and components, create piping and instrumentation diagrams, component and consumer lists, technical descriptions and instructions.
We analyse questions that go beyond solid mechanics, such as those on temperature field problems, pressure losses and transient processes in piping systems as well as three-dimensional flow processes via CFD.
In addition to securely supporting and affixing plant components, such as piping systems and components to steel scaffolds, platforms and building structures, the functional and operating safety of plants also requires the analyses of the strength, fatigue and remaining life cycle of mechanical structures.
For this purpose, we use state-of-the-art calculation methods and create inspection-ready documentation. All calculations are based on national and international standards and detection methods. They also meet quality management system requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001 as well as KTA 1401, AVS D 100/50.
