In 2014, the HVZ GmbH & Co. Objekt KG, represented by the Hypo-Bank Verwaltungszentrum GmbH, commissioned Kraftanlagen München for the revitalisation of the HVB tower sprinkler protection, as well as the south low-rise building and the entrance hall.
Kraftanlagen München carried out the complete reinstallation of the sprinkler protection following the removal of the objects. Due to the changed design of the supply system and the differing requirements of the technical regulations (primarily VdS - CEA 4001), all sprinkler pumps incl. switch cabinets were resupplied and commissioned.
The HVB tower – the main part of the building complex – stretches from the 5th floor to the 25th floor. It has a total height of 107 metres. This includes the highest sprinkler-protected floor (25th, top floor), 105 metres above the ground and approximately 120 metres above the pump system. The sprinkler protection in the tower is 100% redundant and office premises, executive suites and technical centres are all protected. The entire area of coverage is divided into three groups.
The south low-rise building stretches from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor. This primarily accommodates the conference centre, whose auditoriums (so-called places of assembly) must be protected accordingly.
The entrance hall, which serves as a connector, stretches from the 1st floor (basement) to the 5th floor. Because of the architectural characteristics, Kraftanlagen München also installed the particularly challenging sprinkler protection system in this building section.
