What do you do at Kraftanlagen?
In the HR department, I am responsible for recruiting new Kraftanlagen employees. That includes job postings, interviews, etc. I also make sure that employees are happy here and can continue their development – for example, by organising new courses for the training we offer.
What does your average day look like?
No two days are the same for me. I check application materials, conduct job interviews and spend a lot of time on the phone because I am the one answering the questions about Kraftanlagen that applicants have. And then I take care of personnel development. This means that I, for example, organise the annual appraisal interviews and take care of training.
Have you participated in this training?
I was selected to attend a special program for young leadership personnel that Kraftanlagen offers. That was very helpful, both professionally and on a human level. I viewed my selection as an honour and an appreciation of my work – and it motivated me even more! The exchange between Kraftanlagen colleagues was particularly valuable.
What makes working for Kraftanlagen special?
It takes a team to build a power plant and that is why teamwork is particularly important here. Our hierarchies are flat and anybody can approach anybody else without hesitation. My network within the Kraftanlagen Group is now fairly extensive. I'm a very open person and approach people without reservation. My background helps with this: I grew up in a bilingual home. My mother is Irish and my dad is from India but I grew up in Germany.
